Fun idea, but ultimately not much usable

The “Inside pages” preview gives you a sense that this is a zombie apocalypse game in a world where all the conspiracy theories are real. Fun sounding premise, right? I thought so, so bought the book, but it wasn’t what I hoped for. For anyone else who’s considering buying this, let me explain my issues with it so you can see if it’s worth it or not for you. The book is in two major pieces – the story of the world, and the role playing system. The first part wasn’t really what I expected, and maybe that’s my fault. Here are my issues with the book. 1) By taking most conspiracy theories as factually true, the world it creates has a definite white nationalist tone. It’s all done tongue-in-cheek, but nevertheless, you have an anti-equality, anti-Semitic, transphobic, bigoted world-view that runs throughout. That’s not the kind of campaign I want to run. I play with women and visible minorities, but I wouldn’t want my campaign to be like this even if it was all white men – it just feels a bit gross to my modern sensibilities. Perhaps it’s my bad that I didn’t expect that outcome from the premise, since that seems to be the logical conclusion of most modern conspiracies. It’s a game that’s supposed to be dark, and I understand that – I just don’t want to breathe life into it. 2) The game also veers into pretty distinct religiosity. Again, I know it’s entertainment, but there’s an awful lot of the story dedicated to the Christians, a particular strain of Catholicism that is the “true” religion, good fighting evil, God and Satan, bishops, popes, priests, etc. This is more than just a normal character class or a faction, it seems like it’s the backbone of the new world order. Meh. Just won’t be that interesting to me or my players. 3) I could be wrong on this, but I don’t believe the zombies are intended to be literally zombies. If they are, it’s pretty darn subtle and easy to overlook. While there are a couple bits of colour text that say the “zombies” might even be commanded eat to flesh, it’s really more about how all the vaccinated are under mind control from the evil overlords. In other words, the “sheeple”. Instead of getting World War Z, it feels a bit more like a dysfunctional version of The Office. Again – unique perspective, but not what I was truly after. This is the factor that’s probably the biggest disappointment. 4) Finally, the game system. I give the author kudos for inventing a system that’s simple, uses standard dice, makes the players fragile, and is built on a bell curve. Those are all great attributes, although for me personally that’s only a 50% win. I think the game system is just a bit too simple – specifically character creation. Basically 2 stats and some optional skills. Don’t get me wrong – I hate Pathfinder and feel 5e is burdened with books and books of rules. But I think Chaosium’s Basic Role Playing has it just right. Just enough complexity for the GM and Player to manage easily at the table as well as giving lots of room to grow the character. Also, on the d6 thing – I’m just not a huge fan of d6 only systems. My crew has “invested” in tons of dice, so limiting them to one set only seems almost a bit cruel. Half the fun of an RPG is owning all the platonic solids. In summary, like most anything you’ll get for a real game, it’s a sourcebook. Every GM has their own personal tastes, and some will be able to use more that’s here than others. What I’ll personally be able to salvage from it in terms of good, usable, and playable ideas is less than a single page. I recognize the work that’s gone into it, and I’m not trying to be critical about the result – it just doesn’t match what I need. If you are expecting something more like a playable version of Max Brooks “Zombie Survival Guide” like I was, keep searching. But if you’re more open to taking today’s world and dialling up the dysfunction and conspiracies up to 11, it might be just for you.
All the other reviews are 5 stars, but I am not sure that Andy Gryc’s review is having the effect he intended. I know several people purchased the game as a result of it.
And for those already willing to experiment with the game system, the game could be easily adapted to play out some of the events found in the recent novella In the Shadows of Monte Castello.
The point is that with much of my fiction writing the baselines are rooted in very solid reality.
The whole Overlords of Mars trilogy as found in one volume (Nazi Moon) is soundly based on The Face on Mars written in 1995 and Systema written in 2011 and the thread of Reclaiming the Catholic Church shadows most things I do today.
So while the route and the road may be flexible, ultimately, if your entertainment is any good, it should reflect recognisable realities, regardless of how fantastic the setting might be.
And real virtues, such as courage, moral fortitude, reason, Justice and so on, are ultimately timeless, no matter how much the woke want to pretend otherwise.
The first module is also available at the E-store and Amazon, but I would like to make sure it is, firstly wanted, and secondly relevant, so I am conducting a small poll as below, the first answer assumes you don’t care about the RPG game and/or about any modules for it. If that is the case I still would appreciating you taking the half-second it takes to indicate your lack of interest by clicking on that option.
The other options assume you either have or will have the game and are interested in the module too but prefer one of the identified scenarios.

Assuming you have been diligently ignoring the fake news and getting your information from the only viable sources (autists memeing on 4chan, so-called “conspiracy theorists” that have been proven right about essentially everything for the last 30-40 years or more), as well as ignoring the gatekeeping conmen such as the fake “Catholics” like Milo, Taylor Marshall, Emo Jones, anyone who doesn’t condemn the Novus Orco Vatican II Satanic sect, as well as the gatekeepers of “popular online media”, such as the completely bought and paid for self-sodomising on camera, face and gay Gavin McInnes, Tim Pool, and other assorted “The poor Jews only had those pedorat tunnels to pray in peace” types, you might be wondering…
Well, self, avoiding all the tsunami of degeneracy, having avoided the latest HAARP produced “weather” and “Earthquakes” and “volcanic eruptions” and not yet having succumbed to false accusations by the FBI/CIA/NSA/Deep State of any of the “democratic” supposed “countries” (satrapies) of the West, what do I do now?
Well, gentle reader, rest assured. In the coming days and weeks I plan to keep adding to my E-store so you have both fiction for entertainment and non-fiction for post-apocalyptic information you will treasure, as well as trying to launch a really good new business that I hope is successful primarily because it is health related and absolutely awesome, having tested this on myself with results that continue to amaze me, and no, do not worry, I am not about to sell you boner pills a la Alex Jones (also a gatekeeper from day dot as far as I am concerned). It involves only absolutely organic products that are 100% natural and contain absolutely zero additives of any sort and have been proven by literally weaponised autists to be precisely what works to reduce all sorts of inflammation, including the one caused by the genetic serums if you took them.
But I will tell you more about that once I have established viability and got it at least tentatively off the ground.
All that aside, I plan to produce a series of blog posts and eventually probably also a short book filled with basic but really simple and practical advice on how to navigate and thrive in the coming multi-polar world, if like too many of us, you are stuck on the wrong side of Clown World vs BRICS (and in any case, how to also continue avoiding the most nefarious aspects of life on Earth that will and do continue to exist also under BRICS).
It’s what I have been focussing on and while you are probably all by now clear on my absolutely completely zealot screaming from the rooftops advocacy for Catholicism proper (i.e. Sedevacantism) the series that will follow over the coming weeks and months will not be focusing on the religious aspect mostly. Of course, being as I am a good proper zealot, some related posts cannot be avoided, but in the main it will be a practical guide with practical applications. I will also have to conduct more polls to try and best serve as many of you as possible, so if you can respond to them and also help spread them and this blog around, I will be grateful, because the larger the data sets, the better I can focus my energy on what is most required or requested by you all.
Thank you all for your continued readership by the way, I have high aims for 2024 and a positive outlook for it although I have no illusions about any of it being easy for any of us. Anyway, adventure is never easy, but it can be glorious, and that is my intent going forward. Look, I get it, the world is going to Hell in a hand basket, more absurd news daily and if you are so foolish as to watch the actual news it’s a constant flow of terrifying nonsense. From Transgenderism to Climate Change and everything in between. they are literally spraying you with chemicals and trying to prevent you from travelling or eating meat. Yup.
And they are also ridiculing anyone who tries to organise or tell the truth and above all they want to keep you separate and infertile.
Yes they are passing laws that make it illegal to criticise laws, any laws, Israel, Jews, or to write anything deemed “hateful”. Yes with huge fines and jail time. And yeah they are going after people already.
Oh, and they want you unbelieving in God, of course.
And 5G and next 6G and always more restrictions and so on. Sure. It’s certainly in their plans and they are pushing these thing through.
Despair for you is their total aim. Their only and constant mission.
But you can EASILY fight back. Read my blog sure, and take notes from the posts I made about how to win against clown world or how your mind is your baseline strongest weapon.
Remember the following:
We outnumber them by at least two orders of magnitude and most likely three or four. For every one of these bastards trying to get us to take murder-juice, and “have nothing and be happy” there are AT LEAST 100 people that want nothing to do with their evil dystopia future. And more likely 10,000, if not 100,000.
This is why they are TERRIFIED of us having free movement and free association. The answer is simple. Ditch your phones. Leave them at home and meet your friends like EVERYONE did throughout all the 1980s. In person, no mobile phones of other trading devices. Hell, wear Jeans and converse shoes if you want a bit of nostalgia too. Talk. Face to face without digital devices on you or them. Make it a habit.
Get rid of TV. If you have one, unplug it and go a week without it. Then try two weeks. You’ll live, trust me. We didn’t have one up for months and then we put it up to watch some films, and now I am seriously thinking screw that. TV existed when I was born, but was life worse when it didn’t exist? People read books. Had conversations. Made more children. My Russian friends in London don’t have a TV in the home and their 7 year old kid kicked my ass at a logic puzzle game while only half-paying attention. Sure he played it daily but I was in my late 40s.
Get married. Yes in Church. Yes in a REAL Catholic Church (sedevacantist), after you got baptised and converted to Catholicism for real, not as a joke. Why? Because Catholicism is the only religion in which divorce is not permitted. Doesn’t matter if you married a nasty cheating crack-whore or a violent womanising drunk. So choose wisely. You think maybe that matters more than the other superficial crap they sell you 24/7 on TikTok? Family, is the one thing that matters more than anything else. Real family means you are willing to kill and die for your loved ones. Yes, it’s true that sometimes the family you are born is NOT the one where you find love, loyalty and truth. That’s why you got to make your own. And since you had such shitty examples (as we all had) get a manual and learn the right way.
Sure, finding a life-partner today is “difficult”. But is it, really? I went through a LOT of women and I chose wrong twice before I finally got it right. My own journey was one of going through every wrong path until I returned to the origin. It’s a hard way and almost everyone attempting it will be lost along the way. Consider instead, that today, if you refused the murder-juice and don’t believe the big lies, you can already sort the world into those who are pureblood and those who are mutants (a small number of which actually may have got saline so they could be pureblood without knowing it). If you want to remain a pureblood and produce pureblood children… well… your choice is a lot simpler and reduced to a smaller pool of candidates right away. If you then have at least an INTEREST in a traditional way of life, it gets even smaller. And if you are looking at a proper Catholic way of life (sedevacantist) it’s small enough that the likelihood is YOU PHYSICALLY NEED TO CREATE IT. I am in regular contact now with 3 couples that are composed of young men and women NONE of which started out as Sedevacantists, but now all are, all are baptised, all are confirmed and all have been married by side priests in church. I am just one guy and these people in 3 different countries around the world, one of which in Finland, which has NO Sede priests, so meant travelling to another country for Baptism etc. The starting point needs to be YOU. Your mind, then your Faith, then your wife or husband and then your children. CREATE your reality. Literally.
Either follow, support or join an existingKurganate like community, or create your own. Those are the only two options that produce lasting results.
If you’re gonna create your own try to select the best geography and own the land in as free a country as you can, and get others to move there with you.
