If you have read the section on Hypnotic Experiments you will know I tend to investigate Hypnosis in many ways, including some unorthodox research. Some of it however has been so interesting and successful that it merits a more thorough body of work performed in a scientific manner in order to make the results further advance this still relatively misunderstood science.
Below you will find more information on any Clinical Trials that I may be running or have an interest in running and in which I could use the help of volunteers, benefactors, or other research professionals in order to combine our efforts for the advancement of scientific progress. If we can also get a good adventure trip out of it so much the better. I always wanted to research the hypnotisability of the Duck Billed Platypus for example and will gratefully take all sponsorship towards this endeavour.
Healing Myopia (permanently) with Hypnosis
Status: Ready to begin upon sourcing of suitable volunteers and possibly funding
Requirements: A few myopic patients (2 or 3 would suffice) but one will do in a pinch. They have to become good hypnotic subjects which may require a few hours (usually no more than 3) spaced out over a few days or even a few weeks. Ideally each patient would have the same level of myopia in both eyes and no other complicating factors such as glaucoma, astigmatism etc.
They should be available for repeated visits to the optometrists just before and just after the hypnosis for a period ranging over several months depending on the level of the myopia and the results achieved.
General Information: Accurate official records will be kept of the whole experiment and your participation in it must allow for this. Essentially this means the results will preclude your anonymity in this experiment as in order to be peer reviewed others need to be able to verify the work done.
