Talking about ego…

In case anyone doubted that Victor Orban has it right when he says the West is now populated by vapid egomaniacs.

The boy’s dog had just died.

Note what matters to this human locust.

With apologies to actual locusts

The Devil is in the Details

And in the gay freemason Milo too.

He posted this:

Which is typical of him. Pretend to be suffering through Bergoglio’s daily Satanry while still accepting his as Pope, because Gay Freemason Milo is oh so pious.

Riiiight.

Here’s the detail though:

While Catherine of Siena is indeed a canonised Saint, and in fact, together with Francis of Assisi is also patron Saint of Italy, she was declared a doctor of the Church by fake Pope Montini.

Now, don’t get me wrong, far be it from me to criticise a lady that was an infinitely better Catholic than I will ever be, however, Saint though she is, and an important one, she was most assuredly not a doctor of the Church. Why? Because anything and everything that a fake, impostor Pope does is null and void and never to be considered legitimate.

The upshot of this, is that even if Catherine of Siena did say such words, they obviously were not sound doctrine, or indeed doctrine of any sort. It was, in all likelihood, a hyperbolic statement made to counter some criticism of a Pope during her lifetime.

And even if not, it remains not doctrine of any kind, as actual doctors of the Church, common sense, and Catholic dogma make all perfectly clear.

So what Milo is trying to do here is what Freemason impostor, fake Catholics always do, they appeal to your charity, your forgiving nature, your piousness, in order to use it as leverage to somehow legitimise that pedophile protector, gay and fake Satanist, Bergoglio; as though he were Pope.

He isn’t. Never was. Never will be. Just like Ratzinger wasn’t or Wotjla, or Lucani, or Montini, or Roncalli. Fake Popes one and all.

So, pray for Catherine of Siena, and ask for her prayers for you too, but fee free to ignore that nonsensical and toxic sentence they allege she said. It’s patent nonsense and goes against Church dogma, reality, common sense, and the Bible.

After all, Milo is getting desperate for relevance, his followers keep dropping, and he now posts mostly about his cat. In time, she may well be found feasting on his bloated corpse when he eventually croaks, alone and irrelevant.

A Question for a hypothetical Scenario

Assume a race of aliens has the ability to basically clone or adapt themselves to look exactly like human beings except for a tiny mark, a symbol, say, either tattooed somewhere on their body, or occasionally no tattoo, but adherence to using a specific item of clothing, say a type of hat, or a handkerchief of a specific colour say.

So, in short, while some of the aliens could be recognised by the tattoo in the case of those who sport it, others could only be inferred by a specific item of clothing that they carry on their person, but that obviously, also non-aliens can carry on their person, either unknowingly, or intentionally to try and either curry favour with the aliens or to appear as one of them to the humans, for whatever reason.

Let’s also postulate that these aliens have nefarious intentions towards humanity at large and their first order of business is to get rid of all those people who:

  1. Understand they are aliens and expose them as such
  2. Have the best chance technologically and socially to prevent their nefarious actions and intent to subjugate the whole of humanity to a state of perpetual slavery and depopulation
  3. Organise to prevent their take over

Now, given their human appearance and lack of ease in understanding they are aliens, and secondly, that they have evil intent towards us, I think it’s fairly obvious that the average person would have trouble even being aware an existential threat to their entire civilisation even exists.

Even if they DO become aware and research and realise this is real, they will have an almost impossible task in trying to convince other humans, especially given the level of distraction the average human is subjected to daily.

But there is more. Suppose that in the past of human history, throughout the centuries, these aliens have, at different times and places, been recognised as a threat, and different groups of people took action against them. Sometimes violent, other times, merely excluding them from certain geographic areas, since they looked perfectly human and no normal person would have tolerated what they saw as a genocide.

Yet, these pushbacks from humanity, over the centuries, became always labelled as unjust, the persecution of innocents and so on. You could see how much more difficult that would make the task of the humans who become aware of the aliens and their plans. Exposing them would become almost impossible socially.

Now add to the fact that the aliens all seem to be linked by a kind of telepathy, or some other form of communication, that the humans are unaware of and don’t really recognise. Very quickly, the aliens, though an overall minority on the planet, would infest positions in government and begin to dictate policies in all countries around the globe, to begin acting in a coordinated fashion to the detriment of humanity in general. What are the things these aliens might want to begin doing on a large scale, and over long periods of time? Because remember, they have been among us for centuries.

I think the following would definitely be things they want to do:

  1. Erase any history that exposes their existence and their practices as well as how to recognise them as aliens.
  2. Create systems of taxation, bureaucracy, legislation that all overburden the local humans in each region, and focusing first of all on the people and geographic areas that have the highest level of technology and best communication.
  3. Create multiple systems of distraction and malediction. If the humans can be kept distracted, stupid, overwhelmed with he daily concern of living and so on, they won’t have time to even notice the aliens, much less act against them in concert.
  4. Take over the financial reins of each nation and eventually centralise them as much as possible, with aliens being ultimately in charge of the very process of the creation of money and how and why this is distributed at national and supra-national levels.
  5. Incite as much chaos as possible, especially in the more technologically advanced ethnicities and geographic areas. This can be done by mass movement of peoples from very different and disparate cultures, religions and wealth levels. The more mixed and chaotic the cultures, the more there will be clashes, further distractions and a general breakdown of any kind of law and order, as social cohesion breaks down.
  6. Ensure that the entire legal and government system, works in favour of the most technologically incapable sections of humanity and to the detriment of those most able to organise and create both technology as well as robust social systems of law and order.
  7. Begin a strong system of sexual confusion, promoting any and all lifestyles that do not result in reproduction, and/or that can damage and collapse the normal nuclear family that is the bedrock of humanity, and has been for millennia.
  8. As much as possible, turn the humans one against the other, by any and all means possible. Men against women, gays against straight, one religion against all the others and vice versa, nation against nation, ethnicity against ethnicity, culture against culture, history against narrative and so on.
  9. Begin a process of malediction that begins to intrinsically question hard science and replaces it with emotional and subjective political issues. Math can suddenly become racist, for example. Men can suddenly become women, or vice versa. Child rape can become merely a sexual preference. A nuclear family composed of a man and woman of the same ethnicity, background and culture becomes vile and racist. Borders that protect different cultures and societies from each other become barriers to “social justice” and are to be done away with, and so on.
  10. Infiltrate and corrupt the medical profession, and begin to make global efforts to force theoretically “helpful” vaccines and other drugs onto healthy people, especially children, so as to begin to weaken their natural immune systems and actually make them less healthy in large numbers over long periods of time. Use the fear of illness and the need to safeguard the weakest members of society as a moral crowbar to begin to implement these things, especially in the most advanced human populations.

Alright, starting to feel pretty dystopian yet?

Good, good. Now assume that on Earth there is ONE organisation, that is at least a couple of millennia old, that has always been aware of these aliens. They started out small, but then grew very large, but eventually they too were infiltrated over the centuries and corrupted and very nearly destroyed. Let’s say this organisation is a religious one, that has rituals and orders and so on, with a military arm and a clerical arm. Now that it has been almost completely corrupted, however, a small core of them continue to exist, and practice their religion, as well as the knowledge of the aliens, if not completely in secret, certainly to the almost total ignorance of most of humanity.

Suppose also, that you, as the aliens, are aware of this last remnant of hardcore human loyalists. What are the actions you might take, aside from direct force of violence?

You might slander them, call them all sort of crazy, bigoted, racist and on and on. In fact, you would try to exclude them as some kind of cultish band of crazy people. You would do all in your power to keep people ignorant of their history, of the fact that their religion models reality better than any other systems humans had ever come into contact with, and the fact that their rules were all codified and written down and have consistently produced safe havens of human progress, safety and advanced civilisation.

While you would be far less critical of all the other misguided religions on the planet, and in fact, even help promote many of them, especially those you have convinced that you are their greatest ally, you would absolutely try to stomp this small band of resistance fighter out of existence.

So… here, finally, is the question.

Assume you are just a normal human, going about your business, unaware of most of this stuff, and then, in whatever way, and by whatever means, you begin to become aware of all of the above. What would you do?

Would you take the time to investigate the seemingly absurd claims about alien invaders hellbent on the total enslavement and massive reduction of the human race?

Would you investigate the belief systems and history of the small band of remaining resistance fighter?

Would you be willing to have all your dearly held beliefs exploded in the face of factual evidence that yes, these things are in fact true?

Realistically, would you take the time to really look into it? Or would you pretend you never came across any of this and just carry on with your day to day life and hope it was all just a bad dream?

Honestly, I am curious, what would you do?

In a way, it’s the same question one might ask of the original film the Matrix. Would you want to wake up and become part of the resistance against the aliens? Or would you choose to remain oblivious in your caged in state?

I put it to you that most will choose to remain caged in. Especially those who are not in already poor and tragic circumstances. I put it to you that the boomer ethic of “hey, I am still ok, screw the world” would preside majorly in almost all of the people who stumble upon the reality of the evil aliens.

And I call such people NPCs. Non-player characters. After all, just like in role playing games, be they Dungeons and Dragons, Traveller, or my own Q.O.R.G. , only a few take the risk to become relevant in the world they live in.

So that’s my question. What do you do?

From a facebook post

I have copied this from a post someone made on FB.

After being shocked by how deeply and ubiquitously Catholic the ancient Christians were in 2017, I finally became willing to hear out the Catholic Church I had despised my entire life, and take the deep dive.

What I found is that the Church had consistently read the Bible more deeply, more comprehensively, and more consistently than anything I had ever encountered in Protestantism. I also saw that Her teachings had been consistently misrepresented and slandered by most Protestants I had ever known, heard of, or read my entire life.

When I finally began to be willing to SIMPLY LISTEN to the Catholic Church, and give it the benefit of the doubt, questions I had my whole life were finally answered. Inconsistencies in Scripture I could never explain—no matter how much Luther, Calvin, or other Protestant theologians I read—suddenly made glorious sense.

I began to experience this profound biblical wisdom as a merely curious Protestant, not a convictional Catholic. But it was overwhelming.

This was hard. It was extremely time-consuming. It cost me literally tens of thousands of dollars in books—many of which I’ve read, and some of which I continue to work on. It’s really quite true to compare Catholic and Protestant theology with two incompatible sets of software. I simply never realized how much my Protestant software had blinded me to seeing so many things. That software had to be unwound, and rewired in many ways. I had to be willing to have a lifetime of assumptions and opinions blown to smithereens. But once I was, it was beautifully reconstructed by the teaching of the Church and Her saints.

What the Church taught not only made far more sense, but it was far more beautiful than anything I’d ever encountered in Protestantism. The Gospel was so much richer. It made so much more theological, moral, and historical sense. And in many ways, it was actually far simpler, and less convoluted.

On top of that, it was incredibly consistent in its essence from century to century. In 2017, when I began reading the Fathers, I was SHOCKED at how different their faith was from mine, beginning with the disciples of the Apostles themselves.

Now in 2023, with years of reading their writings under my belt, I’m shocked—and even more, profoundly GRATEFUL—that their faith is now my own. I can read virtually everything they wrote with little or no qualification. It is the same faith—the Catholic Faith. It was an incredible relief to find this safe and pleasant harbor after so many years in Protestantism, where debates about the meaning of Scripture could be resolved by no one, and we only had two options: water down the faith to accommodate the conflicting opinions; or form yet another schism.

The Catholic Church presented me a radical solution: Herself. As some utopia? No, far from it. I’ve often heard Protestants act as if the Catholic claim is that everyone is always nice, obedient, and orderly in the Church. That’s absurd, and that is never what I thought. There have been many chaotic periods in Church history. We’re in one. There have been very wicked bishops, and even Popes.

But when the dust settled, in every century, the promises of Christ to remain with, protect, and guide His Church into all truth—IN SPITE of human sin—were consistently vindicated. There’s nothing like it in history. The Catholic Church remained fundamentally the same: the flock under the successors of the Apostles in communion with the successor of Peter. Simple, public, and known to the whole world, both friend and foe, century after century, and now millennia after millennia.

I’ve loved the Bible since I was a little boy. But since becoming Catholic, I have never loved it more. Its riches are never-ending. The Bible has never come alive, nor been so thrilling to study, as since I humbled myself before the apostolic authority of Christ’s Catholic Church.

I’m so excited to share this story, and the wonders I found, in the ensuing months and years. I’m so grateful.

The Great Divide

What Victor Orban said in his interview (see last post) is really the main dividing line between what I would consider to be the enemy (knowingly or not) and those that could either be allies or at least well-marked enemies that are probably fine just being in their own space with a nice big wall between us.

That is, the ego-driven on one side, and those driven by concepts more important to them than themselves, be it God, family, nation or a mixture of those.

The difference between these two sides is that regardless of the words, supposed reasons, theoretical ideologies that the ego-driven spout, including how they try to couch everything in their apparent need to “help” others, be they rapefugees, leprous murderers, abandoned and trafficked children (which would likely not have been, absent their international meddling) starving locusts, or whatever else, the reality is that these people are doing what they do because ultimately they want to be the centre of attention. It’s all about them. Their “victimhood” (by proxy when not directly), their drama, them, them, them.

So in that respect, once you recognise their core value (me, me, me, I, I, I) they really are a monolithic horde of zombies. And like zombies they will cause harm and damage in multiple ways, but ultimately it all boils down to them wanting to eat (destroy) you, by whatever means they can.

The other side is more akin to a bunch of disparate nomadic tribes. Some will be about God first (and then which God?) but these are relatively few, regardless of religion. Most, remember, even if “believers”, are unwilling to die for their supposed religious beliefs. And those that are willing can usually include a smaller percentage of what may be called the unhinged (suicide bombers, super fundamentalist “baptists”, etc). That said, true believers, even if opposing religions, like Islam and Catholicism, can at least live fairly decently as neighbouring nations, as long as each side is uncompromising in their intolerance. Of the other within their borders. Should Europe become suddenly properly Catholic again, no mosques or synagogues or temples to Buddha should remain, and those of those heathen religions would have to sojourn here as polite guests or suffer the consequences; just as a Catholic in Saudi Arabia would need to do.

In practical terms this means that one side is a monolithic wave of enemies, while the other side is a bunch of disparate smaller tribes that work with each other only incidentally. Those whose primary purpose is their own family are unlikely to make long-lasting alliances with anyone else that are of a very strong character, and so on.

I realised a perhaps even simpler divide between people, long ago, those who strive for, look for, and love, the truth, reality, objective facts, and those who do not.

It is no surprise that those who do not, at their core, have another interest: themselves.

Invariably, the preference of a lie over the truth is tied to their belief in some personal reason or gain that they expect or perceive either is, or will be, theirs. In short, they are the same ego-driven zombies.

The main complaint that “right wingers” never band together like the “lefties” do, is simply an unintelligent observation. Firstly it has nothing to do with left-right politics. In fact, though either side might tout some political ideology, the reality is that the real divide is composed of two parameters, and really only these:

1. Their respective ability to be able to perceive objective reality, and,

2. Their ability or desire to align with reality versus their need to satisfy their own ego.

Those with a high ability in 1 that choose ego in 2 are knowing and intentional deceivers, tyrants, narcissists and so on, essentially evil people.

Those with a low ability in 1 are the most numerous of all, and made largely unable by the education policies, entertainment choices, and general news media perpetrated on us by the evil ones that are, mostly at the helm of all politics, all legal systems, all entertainment and all news media.

Of that large crowd, those who choose ego do so largely unconsciously. A few might wake up when suitably rude shocks from reality happen to them, but even then, they will be mostly shell-shocked, and unable to be of much use to themselves or others.

The remainder, who, despite being unable to see reality as it is very well, nevertheless put other things above their ego are for the most part deceived, and usually suffering, (mostly) innocents. I do feel sorry for them, more so than the unconscious zombies, but in general terms they are NPCs. Villagers that you, as a noble warrior are ultimately wanting to protect, but they are generally not much help. They may be personally helpful, but may also be personally unhelpful. Either way, they are not going to be of much use other than when you have already achieved enough for them to become a critical mass behind you that helps by sheer weight of numbers.

Lastly, we have what I hope is a decent percentage of the readers here, those with a high ability to perceive reality, who also choose things higher and more important than their ego. These could be labelled as at least potentially, the good guys.

The problem is that all human beings are in some degree of error, so none of us perceives reality exactly as it is. We all, indeed, see through a glass darkly, and yet, we should also not let this detail get in the way of our convictions; at least not until we see through a glass slightly less dark.

So, while I was assured and confident in my beliefs even when not a Catholic, I can say with some certainty that I was able, even then, to associate with people of an honest character, because regardless of their beliefs, and how wrong they may have appeared to me, they clearly valued truth above lies. Honesty above ego. And that was enough for me to consider them people I could work or fight alongside of.

Which is not to say you need to compromise your own beliefs at all.

I went from a generally Zen Agnostic, practical person to a hardcore Catholic (sedevacantist) somewhat less “practical” (from the perspective of my old self) and more centred internally than I have ever been.

Which, in real terms, is, even by my old perspective, an improvement, because my internal centre was extremely solid even then. Since I acted in concert with what I perceived was reality and the truth to the best of my ability, without much ego at all involved, I was always solid internally. My newfound additional information about reality has absolutely increased my objective perception of that reality and hence of ultimate truth. In short, I see through a glass far less dark than I did before, and as such, my internal centre has only increased in strength and solidity. I was a rock before, but now I’m a mountain.

And while my personal “tribe” of Sedevacantists might not be a huge one, they are, without a doubt, the most solid people I have yet met.

And given my and their ability to see things as they are, while on one side we are less tolerant of the lies and their perpetrators, we also are far more charitable of those who are perhaps less capable of that perception, but still striving for truth. And as such, the alliances we can form are many, all while remaining totally immovable in our core.

In short, try to see reality as it is. Let the truth be your guide, not your ego, but rather, increase your ability to do logic and reason, so that you may better evaluate facts and events, and let that guide your search for truth. As long as the truth matters to you more than your ego, you’re on the right path, and eventually, if you seek it, you will find it.

Victor Orban Nails the Malaise of the West

Take a look at this clip from Bombast’s body language ghost YT channel. The whole thing is really good, so I suggest you watch all 18 minutes, but if you only want the pivotal point, then start at 14:02.

In his interview with Tucker Carlson, Victor Orban is asked why he is not so well-liked in the USA. He had first explained that the war in Ukraine cannot be won by the West and that the main difference between the West and Russia is that the West says freedom is important (they lie, of course, keeping themselves in power at your and my expense is what matters to the parasitic pedovores in power) while Russians believe keeping their country together is the top priority, with freedom being a secondary or even lower issue.

This initial point, earlier in the interview, is also a key one to grasp, not only in order to understand Russia, but to understand reality.

I have often said that I really like Russian culture, because it is probably the one I most think deals with reality as it is, not as any wishful thinking might wish it to be.

And the reality is that if you actually begin to understand reality itself, what its rules and laws and truths are, you become immediately aware that your own ego, is almost entirely a noxious and negative thing. That your selfish obsession with your happiness, feelings, erroneous ideas unhinged from reality, and so on, are in fact getting in the way of your life having any real worthwhile meaning.

And when your life has no real worthwhile meaning, guess what? Paradoxically you are NOT happy, you DON’T feel good, and you become more and more demanding with diminishing returns.

The way Orban explains it, in the last few minutes of this interview, is entirely correct. And he does so very politely indeed.

The bit where he says “And maybe in your country too, but certainly in Europe…” made me laugh. The problem is a probably a couple of orders of magnitude worse in the USA of course.

But in essence it is this, and this is the real war between peoples going on:

On one side, you have those people who think their ego is the most important point of all.

Me. Me, me, me! I, me, I, I, I!

On the other side you have people who believe they are NOT the most important thing. They value other things above themselves. Among which: God, family, nation, tribe, even friends.

So I ask you two questions; between these two types of people:

1. Who would you rather have as a neighbour?

2. Who would you rather be?

My Dad

That’s him with the long hair in the middle left of the photograph.

He’d started training like an obsessed man (a family trait) at age 19, and by the time I was 2 or 3 years old and he was 24-25 he was a third dan and teaching. This was not a normal trajectory, but a rather accelerated one that the traditional Japanese teachers of his dojo in the early 1970s allowed only for men that had a natural aptitude or talent and uncommon dedication.

When I went to visit his old teacher in my early 20s, I took a taxi to get there, and, as Italian taxi drivers are want to do, had started a conversation about why I was going to this well-known dojo in Turin. I explained about my dad having trained and taught there some 20 years earlier but having since moved to Africa. The taxi driver exclaimed: “Africa? But wait… is your name Filotto?”

When I said yes, this guy, who had never set foot in a karate dojo in his life, began to tell me how he definitely recalled the stories about this Filotto guy, who had achieved a kind of quasi-myth status by then.

My father is definitely an interesting guy, who has had a life so adventurous and weird that if they made a film of it, most would think it was an exaggeration. In reality, the film would likely have to have some true scenes omitted, because they would seem too absurd for real life. But, as anyone that has actually lived life, truth, is invariably stranger than fiction.

If you want an excellent read that is hilarious, interesting and true (and yes there are some things he left a little bit out of the story either for decency, legality or incredulity of readers, but that I know all too well), you can find his most excellent book about his life, here.

Italian Women

Although I was briefly married to one, and we remain good friends to this day, in fact we celebrated our divorce with a bottle of champagne, I have always tended to steer away from Italian females.

Well, you know, aside the occasional, inevitable “tripping accident”. Mostly because they tend to whine, whinge, and complain as well as be interested in talking (a lot) about completely retarded minutiae of daily life. Or at least they were, some 15-20 years ago, things may have changed. Part of the reason I had married my first ex wife is precisely because she wasn’t really of this type.

Aside that however, Italian women fall into one of two categories with a lot more frequency that I think any other country on Earth I visited with the possible exception of Kazakhstan. They are either some hobgoblin of nature or stunningly beautiful. Even most women with an ordinary face tend to have good bodies, and with my wife, when we go to the beach, or the aquapark my eldest daughter wanted to visit, she comments as much or more than I do on the solidly perfect butts that are literally everywhere on model-like bodies.

The men are more of a mixed bag, but still a lot of six and even eight pac abdomens. Seeing obese beached whales in Italy is still a generally rare occurrence and when you do they are mostly foreigners.

Italy had banned GMO foods and although they are now trying to change this, there is a huge pushback by Giuseppe Normale (Joe Normal for you monolinguals). And our food is still for the most part actual food. Something you can’t find in America unless you have your own jet to import it from places like Italy.

So, the bureaucracy here is insane and chaotic (don’t ask. No seriously, don’t), the rules are partially arbitrary, and so on…

But… there are some serious butts here, where if I were a single guy with a job that allows you to earn independent of location, as many IT professionals do, it certainly would be a place I would consider on that alone. And if I could get an ancestry citizenship (I think if one of your grandparents was an Italian you can apply, but don’t quote me) that would also take care of any gun licenses you might want to get. Only citizens without a criminal record can own guns here.

And I think that the whiny aspect of Italian women may also have been a mostly localised issue relevant to the Piedmont region. It doesn’t seem to be an issue in other regions, though I would avoid Lombardy too.

Italian regions are like mini-countries and the culture can be quite different one from the other, with dialects being almost a different language in each.

So… my golf clap applause to Italian women.

The Subtlety of the Demonic within Protestantism

Oh I know, protties will ass-u-me that this is just yet another rant against their facile and absurd version of Christianity. But no, it is actually something quite subtle yet very important.

It has taken me about the last two years to really begin to observe the clarity with which the protestantism zeitgeist affects really not just protestants specifically, but in fact, pretty much all of the English-speaking world. Regardless of your religious beliefs, I think if you take the time to read this, and then make some observations, there is a real benefit you might gain from it. Even if you remain a protestant (tragically misguided as that position would be).

In a succinct three sentences, the problem is this:

Protestantism mechanises human beings, and is designed to do so by its ultimate “creator”, reducing the humanity between people and subjugating the individual to ever growing rules, as if he were simply a cog in a machine.

Catholicism (the real one, not the Novus Ordo version, which is just a Satanic perversion of Christianity) on the other hand is religion best suited for human beings, it ennobles, elevates, and improves the condition of the individual at the individual level, and thus of the family, and thus of society at large. Never losing sight that the individual is the key and his or her individuality is a gift and joy when expressed within the protective confines of Catholic dogma.

This assertion, which might at first seem mere opinion, can be verified by you in a number of ways. Most of these are what I would call large scale statistical studies/observations and as such, while individual counter-examples can be found aplenty, they do not in any way invalidate the overall thesis. Here are some of the easiest and most profitable areas you may wish to investigate for yourself:

Marriage – Divorce and Abortion – Family unit Cohesion – Children

While the Novus Ordo Satanic cult has damaged this institution a lot in the intervening nearly 70 years, even today, divorce, even in nominally “Catholic” families is viewed as a great failure and although the stain of scandal is much reduced, there is still a hint of it. This, of course, stems from the concept that marriage should be for life. A stance that the Catholic Church always had, and even the present day Satanic impersonators find difficult to reverse, though they give out annulments like confetti as of late. In fact, until the early 1900s, even amongst protestants, divorce was still quite the stain. It all changed with the introduction of contraception in pill format, invented by a Jew, and readily taken up by Protestantism. Although condoms had existed for a long time, their use was banned by Catholicism, since, as per Catholic dogma, the PRIMARY purpose of marriage, is to raise a family, which means children, which means divorce is out because you should be adult and possessed of reason enough to know this BEFORE you even enter into any kind of sexual liaison with the proposed wife/husband. Meaning you will make your choice based on their suitability for that as your PRIMARY point, and your compatibility in terms of sex, lustful attraction, and so on, only as a distant second, if not third or fourth. The reason being obvious, in that two people actively working towards creating a harmonious environment for their children will both work towards finding a harmonious compatibility of a sexual nature, and, as my pre-Catholic experience tells me, almost any man and any woman can become sexually really quite compatible, when they both aim to do so, even if at first this might not seem the case. The honest wish to have children and raise them together makes it an easy thing to ensure both parties work hard at any apparent incompatibility or lack of symphony in their individual ways. So it all stems from the lack of contraception amongst Catholics, which is a far deeper and fundamental aspect of marriage than most people today, imbibed in the Protestant mindset, even begin to realise. Divorce is the result of placing the lust/attraction/ephemeral traits of the potential partner ahead of the fundamental/primary/lifelong attributes. If your focus is on the ephemerals, these will inevitably change and degrade over time. The fundamental aspects, are far more resilient and knowing this consciously helps you make better choices from the very start. The extreme of this attitude of focusing on the ephemeral instead of the fundamental is, of course, the total inversion of the very essence of marriage, where children are seen as an inconvenience to the extent that we then murder them in the womb. Tearing them literally apart, limb from limb so as to not get in the way of our buying a new iPhone and having sex with whoever we fancy, without any wish to even have a long conversation with them, much less spend a lifetime together. Catholicism has this aspect correct, and protestantism has it completely wrong and inverted. As a result protestant society is no longer family oriented and what children result from the bonobo-like couplings of humans are often urban-feral examples of disrespect, savagery, complete lack of moral character or discipline, and the denizens of broken homes. You can see this in broad terms by simply observing the generic or “average” behaviour of teens in Anglo-Saxon/teutonic countries (which are overwhelmingly protestant) and comparing them to nominally and presently really ex-Catholic countries, like Spain, Portugal, Italy and to a lesser and modified, but still valid extent, South American also ex-Catholic countries. The family unit in such cultures still matters, and children will tend to get corrected sharply and quickly if they behave in unacceptable fashions (much less so now than say 50 years ago, but it still is a much improved situation when compared to the protestant countries).

Anglo-Saxon or (God forbid, American “law”) Vs. Roman law

The British legal system is fundamentally flawed in that it tries to mechanise and compartmentalise human behaviour in a number of pigeon-holes. You kill a person you get punishment X to Z depending on prior case law (that is, whatever happened in the past to some other guy in supposedly similar circumstances will fit here too, regardless of square pegs and round holes). And quite often, even just punishment X regardless, and not even the option of Y or Z.

The American legal system is actually a complete perversion of any hint of justice and merely a façade to keep the average plebeian and brainwashed American mostly quiet, into thinking they have an actual functioning system of law and order, when in truth, all they have is a system designed to keep the oligarchy well and truly above the rest of their society, while they do whatever they please at the expense of the little people.

Roman law, instead is a perfectly humane and human-based legal system, where a general principle applies, but the details to each case are looked at in the specific. So, yes, murder is generally always wrong, but the pre-meditated murder of a little old lady to steal her pension, is quite different from the premeditated murder of a child rapist. And while the Anglo-Saxon system pretends to adhere to this with various degrees of penalties for various degrees of murder, in reality, the practical aspects are that very often people are forced to make a guilty plea in order to avoid prescribed sentences. The Roman system of law, which is rapidly being ousted by the ever-encroaching Americanism spreading like a plague over the planet, is fundamentally different in that it is dependent on human aspects of life that we are all both familiar and subject too. In Italy, still today, construction contracts are only a few pages long, because the so-called spirit of the law, applies and is self-evident to any honest person. By contrast, in UK law, —which remember has a principle of “the reasonable man”— a similar contract, for a similar job, would be at least a couple hundred pages. In America, it is usually a few hundred pages and also references a bunch of other documents which can run to several thousand pages. As in for example, the Federal rules for Acquisition Regulations. Which is a stack of Satanic nonsense compiled into several volumes that sits well above a metre high if you pile them on top of each other.

Work Ethic and Social Dynamics

The protestant work ethic is often touted as a superior thing above those shiftless Catholics. And I myself, having lived mostly in protestant countries and working as a freelancer all of my life, have also, always appreciated the aspect of the “mechanisation” of work-related routines. The interchangeability of personnel, also meant that as long as I outperformed my colleagues, I would always have a job, since I had an almost endless supply of firms that would be only too eager to slot me in, cog-like, in their machinery. And outperforming my colleagues was not hard to do if your slight autism lets you play “by the book” while your Venetian genetics uses all the instinctual genetic humanity involved to produce results the poor binary thinking protestants can’t even imagine, never mind implement. By contrast, working with my countrymen was exasperating, they would almost never respect deadlines and at times even used strong-arm and duplicitous tactics to stay in the game. As in “Eh… you are already neck deep with us, if you try to get rid of us and change supplier you will lose out even more, so… suck it up and wait/pay.” To which my general response was to play along while I set up an alternative, then I would dump the offenders with a claim on them to boot. I had zero interest in wasting my time talking with them about their (or my) dog, children, whatever, that had zero impact on the job. I never particularly enjoyed my job or work, and I tried to avoid the rat race as much as I could, but when I do enter it, I give it my best to perform my job well. My attitude is pretty much samurai/soldier when it comes to work. It may be a necessary evil, but that doesn’t mean I should be half-assed about it. I perform well for whoever hires me, and have always done so, even when the specific people that hired me, or even the company as a whole may have been populated by complete assholes. When/if their evil/retardation/dishonesty/harm-causing behaviour crossed a certain point I simply left. And in a few cases, took corrective action to the point they would fire me. I have never been fired by “surprise”, I always knew it was coming and why, and it was usually because I put them in a position where they either corrected their ways (which, paradoxically would also improve their profit margins) or got rid of me for being a “meddlesome interloper” as they would see it in their corrupt view, instead of an honesty and profit increasing asset, as I would see it, looking merely at the bottom line and not the egos of the people involved.

All of that preamble to say that I too was under the mistaken idea that a Protestant work-ethic was superior. Well… after a couple of years in a decidedly non-protestant operating country, I have to re-evaluate that idea massively. So, here in note form, are the “positives” of the protestant work ethic:

  • Increase efficiency in the final result overall
  • Increased efficiency in production/delivery/timeline
  • Increased efficiency if there is illness/absenteeism
  • Reduced down time when critical people die/leave
  • Standardisation of systems and methods across the board
  • Standardisation even across industries
  • A supposed “positive” is work-life being very distinct from home-life
  • Due to the standardisation even average or sub-average people can “perform” “adequately”.

Now, pretty much every one of those points turns into a negative for the Catholic work ethic. Less efficient, and so on. However, two of those points above are a “positive” in the Protestant world, but actually a negative in the Catholic world. So let’s consider what the positives of a Catholic work ethic are:

  • Personal relationship based results. Loyal customers and well-performing companies are generally given automatic preferential treatment.
  • Meritocracy based results. Those that perform well can rise to the top because the average is so generally poor on things like delivery timelines.
  • In general, attention to quality in bespoke items is second to none. Timelines are non-existent, but often quality is unmatched by Protestant systems until those systems are mechanised by sufficiently advanced technology; in some industries this wipes out the Catholic competition, but in others the Catholic version is unlikely to ever be replaced by mere AI and higher technology.
  • The absence of a neat separation between work and home life seems impractical and intrusive to Protestants, but, if your society is composed of Catholic-observant human beings, then there should be no huge separation. Which is why they take a siesta in the middle of the day and see their families for lunch. The human connection aspect is more important than the chase for profit margins. Seeing your children at lunch-time and taking a break is good for the family and the mental health of all involved. The customer is of course important, but always second-fiddle to my family and my good friends. As it should be. And of course, those good customers that become also friends, eh… you might work through the weekend or at 3 am to help them out. Because they are friends, not because of profit.
  • The relationships are generally more human-based. In general, if I do work with an Italian firm (after careful selection and experience with them) I am also happy having those guys over for lunch at my house or vice-versa. This has hardly ever been the case with the semi-automatons I worked with (even quite pleasantly) in the Anglo-Saxon world. While I am happy enough having Giovanni the client or sub-contractor over for lunch, the last fucking thing either me or John from the UK want, is to spend any more time in each other’s company after work. And that’s even if I like John and he likes me. John may be a great guy, and he may think the same of me, but John knows, that he will see me at the office, and he will keep well away from my front door. And I will extend the same basic courtesy to him. This is why Anglos will have “team-building” days. The Latins look at that and go, “What is this shit? Are you trying to force us to like each other? That’s not gonna work!” And it doesn’t. I never heard of a Latin firm doing “team-building” days. They do invite and spoil clients to lavish dinners or things like that, but even then, it is only in the last decade or so that this has become more common-place. And generally used to be more of a way to introduce themselves to a client. Hey we build blue widgets and you seem to like blue widgets, can we take you for a nice dinner and chill so you will later come visit our factory and see what you think?

In short then, the protestant work ethic is a better machine. But do you want to spend half your life inside a machine? Or would you rather spend your life surrounded by all the messy inefficiency of humans, but also their beautiful and redeeming human aspects too? I for one was convinced the Protestant way was better. I am misanthropic by nature (and by virtue of my IQ I learned later in life, which makes me feel generally bored or exasperated by average humans for the most part) and have learnt since a young age that I can be fine in quite extended solitude. However, if you develop your charity, humanity, and grace, broadening your perspective of the average human (yes, ok, he may not grasp physics, or astronomy, or respect deadlines, or keep proper accounts, or, or, or… but… he is a great dad, a loyal husband, and will come help you with totally unrelated stuff at 2 am because he’s a good guy) then the Catholic perspective is INFINITELY better, because it allows you to interact with your fellow humans in a much more pleasant way even if you have very little in common with them, and that interaction is not the same as the plastic-world “Have a nice day!” of the USA. It may be a grumpy “Ah, what a shit day, fighting with the wife, screw it!” or it may be “Have a nice day!” but it is intrinsically more human and connected. So yeah, you may not get your work done in the timelines you wanted and if that is all you see, you will eventually move to a 15 minute city merely for the organised functions. Or you know, a prison. Things run on time there too. But if you are interested in the humanity of life, then, you will begin to enjoy the messy side of life, out here in the Catholic “jungle”.

The Subtle Implications of Boxed-in/Binary Thinking

This is the most subtle aspect, but —in my opinion— also the most important. Because Catholicism is true, and founded on God’s Will, it generates a certain “built-in” charity and grace when dealing with the rest of humanity, tempered by a steely resolve to do whatever is necessary to preserve our way of life, our loved ones, and innocents in general. There is a very wide and fluid range of human interactions, which have as wide a capacity for harmony even between very different personalities as possible. Which is not to say that there are not hard lines. There are. But, just as God finds extremely improbable, even miraculous ways to turn even evil to an ultimate good, so too, the average Catholic has a much wider supply of responses to life and other people, all while inhabiting the very clear lines of Catholic dogma. The protestant, not having a culture or tradition, or habit of being imbibed in humanity and its myriad idiosyncrasies, nor viewing them through a theological lens that is also in keeping with both God’s mercy and charity as well as God’s Justice, is far more limited in his response to both situations and people. Things tend to fall into a good or bad category. Permissible or forbidden. Much like the Anglo legal systems, these approaches to life, events, and especially other people, including your children, is very sub-optimal, and over time leads to quite serious perversions of reality and life. Particularly for the raising of children.

My wife at times got upset with me for treating each of our children differently when faced with situations that are apparently, superficially, the same. It took some time for her to begin to appreciate what I explained, that each child is unique, and their internal motivations, drives, and responses are unique and different from each other. It has absolutely nothing to do with any child being more or less like me, or me caring more or less about any one of them over another. I would take a bullet for any of them without hesitation in exactly the same fashion. The point is that you need to adjust the lesson to the individual (again, Roman Law over Anglo “law”).

Having had the benefit of doing and teaching martial arts for some decades, it became very clear that everyone improved faster when the lesson was general for everyone, but the corrections or suggestions were unique to every person in the class. how much more important this is with your own children!

But to a Protestant, this can seem unfair, unbalanced, or being biased or preferential of one person, or group of people, over another. It certainly can appear that way, and be experienced that way by the subject of the treatment, but it is in fact, nothing of the sort. It is the best approximation of actual Justice, since one tries to adapt the situation to the details of the individual or group involved. Anyone that has ever been in serious martial arts, or life and death situations on a regular basis as a pert of their routine, will understand this. Farmers will understand this too. Basically anyone that has to deal with reality in ways that give a serious consequence if you don’t deal with reality but rather your own erroneous perception or idea of it.

This “simplification” of perception, is a real issue and a real problem in the Protestant dominated Zeitgeist (which is pretty much almost completely global by now). And it applies at every level of life, be it the interpretation of natural phenomena (see Rupert Sheldrake’s excellent ideas on even things such as the speed of light on this and other topics), reality in general, theological concepts simplified to the absurd (sola scriptura, sola fides, once saved always saved, all completely unmitigated nonsense any normal child of ten sees for the completely illogical rubbish it is), and really, pretty much all human interactions. Everything from sex (instead of lovemaking) to friendship, becomes transactional and calculated, even if unconsciously, to an extent that damages and degrades the actual humanity between humans. And in fact has steadily done so for five centuries, and taken some nitrous oxide in the last fifty or so.

Conclusions

The afternoon siesta, the inability to use watches or stick to well-balanced “just-in time” delivery schedules, all pale in comparison to the benefits gained by stopping in the middle of your work-day because you saw Paolo and you grab a coffee together, as is, your ability to forgive Giorgio for having done the same thing and coming to pick up your car a day late.

Just as I would rather die fighting to be left OUT of a 15 minute city, in the feral and untamed, wild and unpredictable “jungle” outside of it, so too, I have come to appreciate the humanity of my Catholic ancestors to a huge and fundamentally important degree. I hope you can benefit from these thoughts, and am very open to discussing these points with intellectually aware and honest interlocutors. So, feel free to let me know your views, while keeping in mind the rules.
