The Freemasonic Satanist @CatholicDeacon on Social Galactic, has been going on for days now about how one MUST read the 4000 page commentary on Canon Law he has found in order to TRULY understand why a supposed clergyman (of any rank) who, say, publicly states he sacrifices children to Satan does NOT, according to him, AAAAKKKSSSHUALLLY lose ALL functions and offices of being a cleric and becomes INSTANTLY a heretic, without ANYONE needing to do or say anything further. Nope, according to him, such a person would merely lose the physical office they held but not the clerical (ecclesiastical) office and all that goes with it. To be clear, losing that (ecclesiastical office) is what happens when you become a heretic. You are no longer clergy, no longer Catholic and no longer able to give any sacraments or in any way speak for or represent Catholicism.

Of course, anyone normal and rational can see plainly that canon 188.4 in fact DOES say precisely this. A self-confessed heretic instantly becomes a heretic. Nothing further need be said or done by anyone. The fact itself convicts him, judges him and executes the punishment there and then. Ipso facto. It’s really childishly simple to understand and plainly written.

Now, why have I let this imbecille trumpet for days about the 4000 page commentary without comment? Because literally EVERYTHING he does is as predictable as what roaches do when you switch the light on. And nothing quite convicts them as their own idiotic, blatant, absurd lies. It is quite a spectacle for normal people to see the utter extent of bald-faced lying these Satanists do. They literally lie about the most obvious things to your face and do so easier than most people draw breath. It is such a stupendously absurd and insane behaviour that a normal human being struggles to believe they would be so bald-faced and above all so utterly stupid as to lie so obviously. So for the most part, people tend to assume there must be at least SOME truth to their bald-faced lying assertions and never take a look for themselves.

That refers to 188 as a whole, confirming that the effect is brought about by a fact, ESPECIALLY one on which the law itself (the very Code of Canon Law of 1917) has decreed the loss of an ecclesiastical office. Note that. Loss of *ecclesiastical* office. That is, loss of the clerical state of being. I.e. condemnation as a heretic.

All that is being said here is merely the repeating of what canon 188.4 itself says:

And note: ALL ecclesiastical offices. That means the Papacy too. It does not apply however to mere schism IF the schism is UNCONNECTED to heresy. That is an exceedingly rare situation in which one is in genuine error about some dogma but is not in fact defecting from the faith.

An example would be say someone who thinks because a wife must obey her husband, forced marriage is fine. It is not, it is an abomination and goes against basic Catholic dogma. But the individual is mostly and idiot in need of correction not an intentional and public heretic.
